ASDesign has commenced a master plan concept for the Moore’s Mill village of Auburn, Alabama. The Village of Moore’s Mill is a newer high rent district in the city of Auburn. The village is centered around a large private golfing community. Its real estate value is in direct competition to the historic residential village near downtown Auburn, however the character of Moore’s Mill is more rural. The village is mostly comprised of uppermiddle to upper class families between the ages of 35 and 60, along with their children between the ages of 0 and 19. The Moore’s Mill village is particularly keen on outdoor recreation and high-quality cuisine. The area hosts a fertile, but disregarded, agricultural boarder. Most residents do not work within the village, but rather commute to other Auburn villages and exterior cities by automobile. The current town center is located at the intersection of Hamilton Rd, Moore’s Mill Rd, and Ogletree Rd. Moore’s Mill’s proximity to downtown Auburn, fertile rural edge, and abundance of local investors gives the area a high economic potential.

ASDesign has visualized the future of the Moore’s Mill village as currently outlined by the City of Auburn Planning Department Comprehensive 2030 Plan. Progress is being made by ASDesign to illustrate a more sustainable and inviting possibility for the future of the Moore’s Mill village of Auburn, Alabama.
